Corporate Social Responsibility

We know that IT one is of a company’s biggest users of natural resources. This not only includes daily electrical consumption but also the energy required for the production, distribution and disposal of equipment. We take corporate social responsibility seriously and have initiated a number of schemes that significantly reduce our impact on the environment and ensure that we operate in an ethical manner.

In place since 2008, our Green programme ensures we recycle as much waste paper, plastic, metal and glass as possible. We also ensure our PCs and electrical systems are powered down when wherever possible.

We’ve also made considerable savings by investing in greener technology. An instant saving of 33% on the lighting costs of our corporate HQ was possible, thanks to a more innovative system, and the project also delivered savings of 50% on the remainder of our electrical usage.

However, despite our success, we’re always looking for new ways to cut our consumption. Let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions.

We’re continually monitoring for new environmental regulations, and are compliant with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE).

As a responsible employer, we like to reinvest in our local community and, working with the Redditch Community Service Volunteers (CSV) branch, we offer placements for those looking to gain experience within the IT industry.

Last year CSV training programmes helped over 12,000 adults and young people across the UK to develop new and existing skills, to discover and unlock vocations and to help build self-confidence.
