Account Manager/Director

As an Account Manager, you will need to deliver a sustained sales performance fit to achieve and exceed 100% of the target through finding new partners, opening new opportunities, as well as maintaining our existing our partners. Account Managers’ support Networks First’s decision to maintain its Channel Centric status.

An Account Manager’s target is made up of new business through selling managed services, professional services and multiyear annuity business.

Networks First is a national organisation, therefore as an Account Manager you will be expected to travel around the UK and attend four customer meetings per week.

Networks First are looking for someone who is highly focused and results driven, has exceptional communication skills alongside excellent presentation skills, selling and delegation skills, possessing integrity and credibility.

Your Skills

Will possess a strong IT services sales track record with demonstrable results in networking solutions selling with multi-vendor mix technology experience in the networking space.
Will possess drive and energy.
Will be committed to the achievement of excellence.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Experience of working with service delivery teams
Experience of driving and winning tenders
Relevant industry knowledge and experience
Will have experience presenting up to board level and have proven success at closing high value contracts
Demonstrable track record of significant revenue and gross margin generation with complex product mix and multi-line services and solutions into target accounts.
Will have the required presence, gravitas and knowledge to be credible at all levels in an organisation.
Consultative or solutions led approach to new business development
Strong commercial acumen combined with good market knowledge
Can balance strategy development and tactical execution.

Apprentice Project Engineer

Networks First Limited are recruiting for an Apprentice Project Engineer (Unified Communications – UC).

Networks First are uniquely positioned to assist customers in transforming the way they do business by delivering Design, Installation, Support and Managed Services. The service provides customers with an end to end service across the entire technology stack and lifecycle of the network, ensuring the customer a single outcome by delivering information to their devices with guaranteed performance and availability levels.

The role of the Apprentice Project Engineer will be aligned predominantly to the Unified Communication technologies and services such as telephony and routing will be the focus.

The Apprentice Project Engineer will carry out UC installations as directed by the Project Office, ensuring the installations are completed in a timely manner and to the customer’s satisfaction. Obtaining sign-off from the customer on completion of the work, and updating any other teams in the business with the work carried out.

The Apprentice Project Engineer is part of team of multi-skilled individuals will also interact with other teams such as Sales, Vendor Management, Pre-Sales, Customers, Vendors, NOC Consultants and other internal departments as required.

Personal Development

As Project Delivery plays an important part in driving annuity revenue, Networks First wish to reward members of the team and will assist in the development of the individuals both from a technical and soft skills basis to allow for progression within the organisation.

Vendor certification is vital to Networks First as it enables us to obtain resources from vendors (Sales, Pre-Sales, TAC and SR), therefore the individual should have an appetite for training and certification. The Apprentice Project Engineer will be expected to gain or at least work towards, an entry level of accreditation for one or more of the vendors within a chosen area.

An understanding of Managed Services is essential so training and development will be provided.

Your Skills

As the role is an important position within the Project Delivery team the individual will require skills such as a flexible, positive attitude and approachable nature;
Some hands on technical knowledge and experience of working with UC solutions would be useful; Experience of working in a customer facing capacity for end user customers or within a Partner
Ability to obtain SC clearance (5 years UK address history)

Location: UK wide

Skill Level: Experience in an engineering environment role with emphasis on networking technologies.
